My geography prep today was to research this guy called Baliro Maggi who is a soy bean baron in Brazil. any way I have found out that actually after being awarded the golden chainsaw prize in 2005 he has changed his ways and has now become one of the leading figures in preserving the forest.
Why cant all logging barons be like this?

I was born and I am currently being raised in a privileged background. As I look around me at school every day I see the children of billionaire Russians and oil baron Arabs and if I wanted to I could probably go through my life telling myself that this is a birth right and that there are no other ways of life. But this unfortunately is not true. Until a few years ago the most I would hear about poverty and people born into a life of starvation and violence is when my mother would tell me at the table “eat your food, just think of all those starving children in Africa”. It is a cliché line but I addess a serious point. Now eating my greens won’t save the children in Africa but there are ways to help to try and give rather than living a life of eternal gain and growth. Just stop for a second and look at the way you live, work, sleep, eat, make money, engage in social activity which ultimately helps you make money from the contacts you make. It’s a vicious cycle, try breaking it for a change try giving something back to the world around you (and that doesn’t mean spending a mini fortune making your local area look nice so you can sell the property you own their for twenty times it is worth) look at the world, look at the places that need the most help.
What I am trying to tell you is that while you may think that working hard, having fun and getting to the top is the most important thing you can do it isn’t. The greatest gift we are ever given is life so why should we not give back and give a better life to those who when we were just learning to read were walking miles to get water that for us just runs out of our taps.
How can you complain to your room mate that you have had a hard day at work when there are children out there who work form six till the sun sets and do things that we have machines to do for us.
So what can you do about it? Well I am not an expert; I am just a fourteen year old boy that thinks it unfair that the thing I dread about each week is double chemistry on a Tuesday and that there are children out there that who have stopped even hoping that things might better. There is this great charity called Save the Children, and they are the experts, they know what they are doing so go onto their site and have a look at what you can do. http://www.savethechildren.org.uk/
So If this is at all important to you tell a friend about save the children and my blog and if you have anything to ad please comment.

Hi readers its me. Just wanted to tell you guys that if you want to add me on My Space just look me up I am Henry Warner. Also please cast your vote at the bottom of the page so I know what you want me to write about.

Wow some people actually read my first post thanks. So in this post I am going to tell you a little about my school (Winchester College). Firstly just to straighten things out I am not going to tell you the things you could simply just look up on Wikipedia. I am in the first year at Winchester which is called JP but most people just call it the first year. My house is called Phils but that's only its nickname its real name is Sergeant's and the house letter is G all the houses at Winchester have three methods of identification Nickname, actual name, and house letter most people just use the nickname. Phils is a good house and it is known as the gaming house and the house where all the crazy stuff goes down. Most of the houses at Winchester have something called a yard normally these are an area of concreate enclosed in a cage however some houses have modernised theirs and had an astroturf put in. I don't go in yard much I spend most of my time in my Toys which is my work area, by the way Winchester has all sorts of strange notions. We are in dorms of six in the first year and at the moment i am in a good dorm it is the only first year dorm with partitions.
If any people have any questions please comment because I write much better if I am writing for a question rather than just writing about really dull topics. Any way see you guys later.

Well first Blog. So what should I talk about? I spose I should probably start telling you a bit about my self. Ok. I am quite tall well built I have brown hair and I cant remember what colour my eyes are. I cant spell for my life as you can probably tell and I like maths but I am not very good at it. If you asked my friends about me I have no Idea what they would say. I was born in Hong Kong but my mum is from Sydney Australia and my dad is from Kent England they are both bankers but I don't really want to follow in their footsteps and be a banker to. My favourite sport is Rowing and I am OK at it and I also like swimming. And I can only write when I am in the right mood and that's not really happening right now so I am going to leave it there do some Homework then come back to you guys (I say you guys but I bet nobody will ever read this)
